ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: If the District Attorney agrees, individuals who have been arrested may apply to participate in the drug court program. The focus of the program is to help individuals overcome addiction during an intensive 18-24 month program. When successfully completed, the District Attorney dismisses the original criminal charges.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This new court will be announced April 2008. April is Child Abuse Awareness Month. The purpose of this new Family Recovery Court is similar to the new Drug Court but targets families who are at risk for losing custody of their children due to drug/alcohol addiction.
